On July 15th, Whispers of the Unbound goes live—the second book in The Booktamer Chronicles, and somehow the hardest thing I’ve written so far.
If you read Library of the Unbound, you know how that story ended: Beatrix fleeing Londinium, William at her side, both of them changed by what happened. This book picks up three months later. They’re still running. Still keeping secrets. And the things they’re hiding from each other? Let’s just say the truth has a way of surfacing at the worst possible moment.
Writing this book taught me a lot about trust—what it means to give it, what it costs to break it, and how hard it is to rebuild. But there’s also action, ancient magic, dangerous new players, and a lot of forced proximity in places you really don’t want to be trapped with someone you’re furious at.
